Day 63, 2023: The House with LED Strips

I went for a walk in an interesting neighborhood and found a house with LED strips built in the wall. Too bad it was not the RGB kind. This gives me some ideas for home designs. Oh yes, there will be a lot more of RGB LEDs ratio than any gaming PCs.

Day 61, 2023: Tales of a two MacBook Pros

I’m working at on two 2013 MacBooks Pro today. One has a faulty logic board and the other has a swelling battery. Both have delaminating screen. Basically there’s no need to put more money into these MacBooks Pro.

I managed to take out the SSDs and migrate them to new Macs.

Day 60, 2023: Mildly Infuriating

I went to get something to eat earlier today and saw a tip jar at the drive-through window. Somehow, a franchise fast-food restaurant workers now have a tip jar. Does that mean they do not get paid the wages they supposed to get?

I have witnessed some other fast food restaurants had their dining area closed temporarily because they were short on staff.

Day 59, 2023: Rain and more Rain

I ended up staying late at the office today. We had a few issues with our network due to some Cat5e Ethernet cables that no longer gigabit compliant. Yes, Ethernet cables do degrade with respect to its ability to deliver the bandwidth.

It is raining heavily again and in glad I get to stay in a warm and dry office.

Day 58, 2023: Rain and Associated Pain

I had an appointment at the dentist office today. For some reasons, I’m always anxious when I’m at the dentist clinic. There’s some “pain” associated with dentist for some reasons. *cough* root canal *cough*
